This policy applies to GoatConnect's Pay-Per-Opportunity Program for concrete-coating installers. Different terms may apply to other GoatConnect services, subscriptions, or separately agreed arrangements.
Qualifying Opportunities
Under the Pay-Per-Opportunity Program, GoatConnect charges for qualifying homeowner opportunities after they are delivered.
A qualifying opportunity must include:
A legitimate homeowner requesting an estimate for a concrete-coating service your company offers.
A project located within your approved service area.
Usable contact information.
Exclusive to one installer
A qualifying opportunity is an opportunity to pursue a project. It is not a guaranteed phone conversation, appointment, estimate, sale, revenue amount, or return on investment.
Credit Requests
If you believe a delivered opportunity does not meet the qualification standards above, you must request a credit within 48 hours of delivery.
Examples of issues that may qualify for a credit include:
Invalid or unusable contact information.
A project outside your approved service area.
A request for a coating service your company does not offer.
Spam or fraudulent submissions.
An opportunity previously delivered to your company by GoatConnect.
All credit requests are subject to review by GoatConnect.
What Does Not Automatically Qualify for a Credit
The following circumstances do not, by themselves, make an opportunity invalid:
The homeowner does not answer a call.
The homeowner does not respond to a text, voicemail, or other follow-up.
An appointment is not scheduled.
The homeowner changes timing or decides not to proceed.
Your company does not close the project.
The homeowner also contacted your company through another independent marketing or lead source.
Installers remain responsible for contacting, following up with, estimating, and attempting to close delivered opportunities.
How Approved Credits Are Handled
For the Pay-Per-Opportunity Program, an approved credit is a replacement credit.
If GoatConnect determines that a delivered opportunity failed the applicable qualification standards, GoatConnect will replace that opportunity at no additional charge.
An approved replacement credit is not a promise of a cash refund, and this policy does not create a cash-value account balance or a right to receive money back for an invalid opportunity.
Requests for a cash refund, billing exception, or other adjustment outside this replacement policy require individual review by GoatConnect and are not guaranteed by this policy.
How to Request Review
Credit requests must be made within the 48-hour review period and should identify the opportunity being disputed and the reason you believe it does not meet the qualification standards.
You may contact GoatConnect regarding a credit request, billing question, or policy question using the contact information below.
Submitting a request does not by itself mean the credit has been approved. GoatConnect will review the circumstances against the applicable program terms and qualification standards.
Pausing or Stopping Opportunity Delivery
You may adjust your requested opportunity volume, pause delivery, or stop future opportunity delivery at any time.
A pause or stop applies to future opportunity delivery. It does not cancel or erase charges for qualifying opportunities that were already delivered before the pause or stop.
A homeowner opportunity is not charged merely because it has been generated. Under the Pay-Per-Opportunity Program, billing occurs after a qualifying opportunity is delivered.
Any qualifying opportunities already delivered remain subject to the applicable charge and credit-review rules even if you later pause or stop the program.
Previously Delivered Opportunities
Pausing or stopping future delivery does not retroactively cancel previously delivered qualifying opportunities.
If you believe a previously delivered opportunity was invalid, the normal 48-hour credit-request period still applies.
Failure to receive a response, appointment, estimate, or sale does not convert an otherwise qualifying opportunity into a refundable charge.
Payment-Method Verification
GoatConnect may use a temporary payment-method authorization to verify the payment method placed on file.
A temporary verification authorization is not a charge for a homeowner opportunity.
Opportunity charges are made in accordance with the applicable Pay-Per-Opportunity Program terms after qualifying opportunities are delivered.
Refunds
The Pay-Per-Opportunity Program's standard remedy for an opportunity that fails the qualification standards is a replacement credit as described above.
This policy does not promise cash refunds for qualifying opportunities that have already been delivered, nor does it establish a refund processing deadline or refund fee.
Any request for a refund or exception outside the standard replacement-credit policy must be reviewed and expressly approved by GoatConnect.
